The PR Telephone Company Sux! It's been about 7 years since we moved into our current house. And it's been 7 years with the same phone line problem that no one seems to want to fix. What's the problem? Well, there seems to be some other line that's crossing with our house line. The phone might be working perfectly, but out of no where it sounds like someone picks up a different receiver and starts dialing a random number. It does this in tone, hangs up, picks up again and dials in pulse. Hmmm. Thing is that when this happens you can't pick up the call waiting because the line is open. So you say..."Let me hang up and maybe it'll go away". BAD IDEA! If you do that, the dial tone disappears and you have to wait a while till it decides to come back...could be 5 min, an hour, 5 hours who knows.

Another lovely thing it does sometimes is sometimes you hear the annoying sound of a fax machine in your ear when you go to answer the phone. It's like, "Hello...BBEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEPPP!!!!!!!!...ah f*ck!" Yesterday it decided to do something totally new. There were 2 dial tones instead of one. When you tried to call someone the tones started going crazy and obviously your call couldn't go through.

Have I reported this malfunctioning line to the PR Tel. Company? Numerous times. They've even checked out the whole house and found nothing. They always say the same thing, "Oh, it's probably a crossed line in the main box outside the neighborhood, but I don't deal with that". THEN SEND SOMEONE WHO DOES! Alas, there's nothing for me to do, but report the f*cked up line again and stay on their asses this time until it gets fixed.
