This is what the sky has been looking like all week long on the island:

It's been raining every day. And not just rain, but the whole package: rain, lightening, thunder, darkness, power outages. We just had a 2 hour power outage because of the latest passing storm. Honestly, I don't mind the rain. What I don't like is that it could be 12pm, but because of all the dark clouds, it looks more like 6pm. Also, the thunder tends to make the doggies go crazy.

A couple of months ago, I was in the tv room talking with the family when out of no where this lightening hit our backyard. The tv room has these glass doors which lead to the backyard so you can see eveything. I saw the lightening through the corner of my eye. Then immediately the thunder was so loud it made everything vibrate a bit and I also heard a "ppsshhhh" from where the lightening hit the grass. My mother screamed...I laughed...the dogs went crazy :)
