After a week of pill popping and uncontrolable drinking, it was time to take my cell phone into rehab. I just couldn't take it anymore. LG took over my room...there were bottles all over the place and random Audiovoxx, Verizon and who knows what other cell phone coming in and out at all hours! :)

My phone had been acting weird all week. In the middle of conversations, all audio would disappear even the key pad tone. Then when you tried to call back, it wouldn't work. Another symptom is that the outside display light randomly turns on without anyone touching it. It was like it had light hiccups. So yesterday I took LG into rehab (the Sprint Store).

I waited in line and then proceed to describe my phone's strange behavior to the Sprint lady. She gave me a ticket and said I had to wait and hour and a half. No problem. So I walked around the mall wasting time and came back at the specified time only to stand in a half hour line. When it was my turn, the phone was still not ready. It was already 5pm and I was starving, so I went home and returned at 7pm. I waited in line for an hour! Soooo sloooooow!

Anyway, so I finally got my phone back and the Sprint man tells me, "You're going to have to call Sprint because your phone has humidity". Can you just imagine my 'WTF are you talking about' face? All confused and in disbelief I just repeated what he said "Humidity...I have to call Sprint" and he said yes. My phone is only 3 months old, doesn't have a scratch on it, never been dropped on the floor, toilet...nothing! And it has humidity????? My cousin's cell phone does a triple back flip into the toilet, dries off and continues to work perfectly. Mine gets a little mysterious moisture and stops working???

Today I called Sprint and the dude said that since it's still under manufacture's 1 year warranty, I can take it into Radio Shack with the receipt and get a new one. Pheeew! I'll have to do that today or tomorrow, but I'm still skeptical. It can't be that easy, can it? We'll see what happens.
