On thursday I went to Naguabo with the family. I can't really stand it there because my parents blast music that's so slow and dull it literally puts you in a coma. And g-d forbid it gets changed to something else for 5 min! We were there because of Good Friday services and what not...they like what they do over there.
So friday rolls around and we're all ready for the procession. As soon as we get there, it starts to rain buckets. It was like a mini hurricane came out of nowhere. We took shelter over where they sell snacks and stuff. There was so much wind, the rain was coming down sideways, pieces of branches were falling right next to us and the tarps/canopies that were placed infront of the church so the overflow of people would be out of the sun, just blew away like paper. After it stopped the procession continued and into church it went.
Out of everything, I thought it was funny that there was this lady standing around holding a sign that said, Silence:
This was the lady's job...making sure that everyone was quiet. I saw her wave it emphatically once or twice at people. I chuckled, but that's ok because I was outside so I wasn't disturbing anyone. What if someone wouldn't stay silent? Could you imagine this lady losing her cool and smacking someone over the head with the sign? That would be hilarious! :)
