Here's my admition for the day:

I have started watching All My Children. I've abandoned the CBS soaps and am now watching ABC. Not that I was watching soaps, but I grew up watching all the CBS shows. Young & The Restles, Guiding Light, As The World Turns, The Bold & The Beautiful...we watched them all in my house thanks to my mother. Even in college I was still keeping up with them. But for years now I haven't been watching them, except for As The World Turns. I have a feeling I'll be watching that till the day I die.

How did I jump over from all that to All My Children? It just sort of happened this past week. My tv 90% of the time is off. I think it was on wednesday, I turned it on looking for the time on a show and I saw The View was on. So I left it on there, laughed with Rosie and the gang and next thing I know, All My Children had started. And I just started watching it. It's just like all the other soaps of course, but I found it hilarious. Also, finally seeing Susan Lucci and remembering back to all those times she would get nominated and never won just made me laugh even more.

So, that's how I've come to watch All My Children. Will I continue to watch? As long as I find it hilarious and ridiculous, sure :)
