Hm. So the chicken has been laying on her eggs for a while now. Today I was taking the tash out and saw a chick. Oh great, the eggs have started to hatch. Now the fun starts all over again with the neighbor's complaints and animal attacks. I have no problem with the one chicken. As you know, I helped clean her up after the rooster pecked at her when she tangled herself up in the table cloth. But it's completely different having 8 to 10 chick running around, getting into your neighbor's backyard, crossing the street etc.

I'm not trying to be incharge of these chicks. Once they're all born, I'd call a family friend and have him take them to his farm. He did once before and that's best. Let's see if we can do that again this time. It might be a little harder this time. Last time they were born in an enclosed area. This time they can pretty much run wild.
