This chicken story is LONG overdue.

I believe the last time the chickens were mentioned, it had to do with the chick my mother decided to save since it was suffering from some strange non-walking sickness. Well, the chick is all better and grew up to be a rooster. He still comes in every night and sleeps in the garage. He will stand at the back door and peck at the glass to be let into the house.

And if that wasn't odd and funny enough, he eats dog food. The rooster has a mixed up identity crisis. He hangs with the dogs in the garage and eats dog food. All he needs now is a doggie door to come and go as he pleases :)

Yeah man. That's thanks to my mother. There's a whole section dedicated to them on here. Go to Topics -> Chicken Stories.

I had a chicken who used to eat my dog's dogfood when he was alive. Actually, you may not believe this, but she would literally steal my poor old dog's porkchop bones the next door old lady used to save for him. Oliver, my dog would put his bone next to the hole he was digging to hide it in, the hen, Nugget(i called her that :)) would come over and take the damn bone from him. Since he was going bilnd, he went nuts trying to find the bone. I had to help him out and scare Nugget away. Unfortunately, Oliver passed away last year, Nugget was found dead on New Years day this year... sigh... They gave me many procrastinating moments while I was doing my master's work, just looking out the window would give me plenty of show time!!!
