Participating in this race wasn't even my idea. Running 5K's are NEVER my doing. Even so, I found myself signed up for it. There were a whole bunch of people who were supposed to run with me. "Supposed to" being the operative word because they never showed up. I was left all on my lonesome to run a race I had no intension of running in the first place.

So there I am, alone, seeing if I recognize anyone. Nope. Well, I did see someone. The only person I recognized was this trainer who does a lot of business in my neighborhood. Great. The race is about to start and someone was already on the ground passing out. MAN DOWN!!! It was a warm afternoon, but it wasn't HOT.

I'm surprised I didn't pass out! This time around I hadn't exercised as much as I did for Race For The Cure, so it was definitely harder. But...I finished. I grabbed my participation metal and headed for home. The next day at work I found out two of the group actually did make it to the race, but photo finish style. Also, they're faster runners so I never saw them.

Now they want me to sign up for the Theodoro Moscoso 10K. WHAT?!
