It seems that I'm never in PR when Las Justas are held. This year I was and wasn't going to go, but I ended up going yesterday. For all those who don't know what Las Justas are, it's universities competing against each other in athletic events. Technically that's what it is, but in reality it's one huge street party from wed/thur through the weekend where it seems that the entire island decended on Ponce.

Saying Ponce was packed is an understatement. At one point we were trying to make our way through the crowd. I had a drink in my hand and little by little we squeezed our way through like everyone else. Out of nowhere these 2 byotches come running through and one bumps into me spilling the drink on me, on the guy behind me and on herself. Since she bumped into me pretty hard I held onto her arm to regain my balance, yelled at her "COGELO CON CALMA!" and threw her to the side....which she then just bounced off some other person and continued to run her way through the crowd. Aside from that, it was a great time. We found a place that was playing electronica, went up to the balcony and stayed there till 2am.
