Happy 5 de Mayo 2006!

Last night we celebrated 5 de Mayo...you know, just an excuse to go out and party :)
Our first stop was a small bar near my house called 20-20. I don't know why it's called that. We had a few drinks and chatted with the people there and then we were off to our 2nd destination, Shannan's Pub. It cracks me up...PRicans celebrating a Mexican holiday (or a supposed holiday) in an Irish pub. :) Shannan's was good. It wasn't packed while we were there which was great. Around 11pm everyone was pretty good and toasty so we headed out. I didn't want to go home yet, so I met up with other friends and continued on to Old San Juan. Now that was packed! We were sitting in traffic trying to get into OSJ for like an hour. We were like "F*ck it! Let's park here and walk". It was a nice long walk, but there wasn't going to be parking inside anyway. It was cool. So we headed up to Cafe San Sebastian where apparently they had run out of beer. That's how many people were there and it just took forever to try and get a drink. We then headed to Pink Skirt which is always good. I even ran into some people from my high school there. Good 5 de Mayo celebrations I'd say :)
